Welcome to my weekly meal plan page!

I usually plan our weekly dinners ahead of time before I go grocery shopping. This ensures that I have all the ingredients that I need on hand to make some delicious recipes . It motivates me to cook dinners for the family when I have planned them already and bought the necessary ingredients. I hate throwing food away so I usually end up making what I have planned unless something comes up.

Most of the time you will only see dinner ideas on my meal plans. I have tried to plan breakfast and lunches in the past as well, but it was too much work and didn’t allow for enough spontaneity! From time to time I will post some breakfast and lunch ideas or recipes.

Lochlyn’s meals

I don’t plan all of Lochlyn’s meals for the week, but only foods that are new to her. I keep a stash in the freezer of foods she has already tried so I don’t have to make them every week. I try to introduce a new food to her every three days. This was recommended to me by her doctor. Introducing new foods slowly helps to identify if she has any food allergies or sensitivities.
